Helen Whittle -good giving consultant.

I was once described by a client as having "the aura of a comfy chair" - and whilst that still makes me smile, it captures something true about how I work.

Individuals, families and their advisors trust me to help at significant moments: when wealth has arrived and the question of what to do with it hasn't yet been answered, when philanthropic intention is there but decisions haven't been made, when a family needs to reconsider their approach or get on the same page about what their giving is actually for. I help them work through the complexity, practically and thoughtfully, in a down-to-earth way.

- Founder of The Giving Concierge

The heart of my professional story is that I spent twenty-five years working in the impact economy, raising and distributing millions in private philanthropic funding. Many of those years were as a consultant at Cheshire Community Foundation, advising individuals and businesses giving through donor advised and place-based funds to make confident grant-making decisions.

I'm an accredited business and personal coach, and trained in an approach that helps multi-generational families navigate complex conversations about purpose, meaning and legacy. In practice, this means I can hold complex conversations, work across generations, and help families reach shared understanding, not just find individual clarity.

Cheshire is home, where I'm raising my Gen Alpha daughter. From here, I work with individuals, families and advisers across the UK, in person and online, and welcome enquiries from clients further afield.

Supporting women to shape their approach to good giving is a consistent and growing focus of my work. If you'd like more detail on my interests, background and training you can find it on LinkedIn.
